Is my younger child ready for a group drama class?

Children become comfortable with group activities at different times. Interest in music or make-believe is a useful conversation starter, but age alone does not determine whether a particular session is suitable.

Think about the whole visit

Consider the journey, time of day, unfamiliar space and separation from a parent. Ask how long the class lasts and how the teacher introduces new children.

Share useful information

Tell us what your child enjoys and what helps them in a new setting. You do not need to present a list of abilities they have mastered. The aim is to understand what a first visit could look like.

Ask about Dreams Dainties

Our early years session runs in Shenfield on Wednesdays, 3.45–4.15 pm. Enquire about current ages, availability, fees and first-visit arrangements. The main theatre school programme is for ages 5–18 and has different session times.
